The Marathon: This Weekend in Austin, TX
When I heard that my Georgia boys were coming to Texas, I knew I needed to make a day trip this weekend. Surprising them all, I boarded a plane for a quick trip to see them conquer the Austin Marathon.

With a view over the city and access to the Gold Lounge, the Fairmont has it all. What a wonderful getaway for the night.
Saturday was spent cheering on the boys and exploring downtown Austin around the race. We ran around trying to find the runners at mile markers around the city. Stopping at the Capital building and coffee shops along the way. The evening was celebrated on Sixth Street and Rainey Street - the highlights of Austin.
